Jet Set Seven
2008 AQHA Bay Gelding.
Mike started him. Born on our ranch. 15.2 Hands. Dark dapple bay. LBE/RBE med/high spirit level. Super sweet and loves liberty!
Mike spent a month in Oregon with Martin Black working on a cattle ranch when he was 4. He got tangled in a fence and had joint above main hock joint injured . It is fused and he is back to work, a little stiff at first, moves out of it quickly. He has real smooth gaits and is Level 3 in the Parelli Program. Mike has him in the two rein and has done cows with him. Will need a confident student who can help him gain experience and confidence since his layoff. Asking $2,000.
Contact me for more information.
Colonel Cody Man (Cody) LBE/LBI cusp
2004 Breeding Stock Paint. Deep red color with black mane and tail. LBE/LbI but doesn’t have that much go, so acts like a LBI a lot. He is very naughty, always wanting to play and has an attitude about everything! He is always the first one in my herd to come to me. He is super treat motivated! He is 15.1H, small white patches on neck and white blaze. He doesn’t grow much of a mane, cause he is always sticking his head out of fencing to explore. He loves treats and especially water! In Pagosa, don’t know how, but always got out of his pen a night. Once was even in neighbors pen. This horse is amazing. He is my first born here at the ranch. I have taken him to clinics and ranches where he has been with cows, ( not confident with them), ridden in the cowboy challenge race, lots of trail riding, bridle less riding on the beach and ponying other horses. I have also taken him to Parelli Center in Pagosa 3 years in a row. A few years ago, he helped me teach a Fast Track. He loves to jump and I have ridden him English too. He can do the most amazing flying lead changes naturally. You can hardly tell they happen. I passed my Level 4 freestyle riding savvy with him. He hasn’t had much exposure lately due to my time, so will need to go to someone working on Level 3-4, that can help him with rebuilding his confidence. Asking $4,000 OBO.
Here is a short clip of me riding him.

AR Axle Rod Down
A change in plans could benefit you! Christine Hall, the owner of Road to the Summit horse “Axle” is shifting her priorities to Cutting. She has bought two of Pat’s mature dream horses and is offering her young horse Axle for sale. Don’t miss this opportunity.”
AR Axle Rod Down. 2014 AQHA Gelding
Sire: Colonel Doc Bar Chex. Dam: First Doc Down, Daughter of First Down Dash. Full Brother to Tara and Wyatt both Road to the Summit Horses. Road to the Summit is a Parelli Foundation Fundraiser where High Quality Yearlings from Atwood Ranch are donated and teamed up with a Parelli Instructor who keeps them over a years time to develop them. They are then auctioned off at the Yearly Parelli Conference. They have spent over a year getting a good foundation from these professionals. Axle is my 2016 Road to the Summit Horse who was bought at the Parelli Summit. I continued his education to this day. The owner in the mean time has purchased other horses and is now looking to find him the perfect home.
Axle is on the cusp of a RBE/LBE but lies in the left brained quadrant more often than other. A beautiful sorrel gelding standing at 15.2 hands already as a 3 year old he will be sure to capture ones eye. He loves people and is playful, athletic, exuberant and smart.
I have had him since Feb 2016 where he has been travelling with me quite a bit. He has been on cows, which he is very interested in, been on trail where he does not mind being behind or in front. He has ponied other horses, attended horse fairs with lots of vendors, horses, etc. He has gone to shows with me. Traveled to Arizona with me last Feb where he did his first trail ride. He has performed some liberty demos with my stallion and I. He has been to the San Diego Beach and bay as a two year old and loves water. He had been teacher’s helper at a few clinics over the last year as well. He recently did a Cowboy Dressage Clinic with me where the instructor was so impressed by him at his age, asked if he was for sale. (At the time, he wasn’t).
In May we traveled to Texas for Festival Magnifico but he got an abcess and was unable to compete. He is healed from that, moving great and ready to find his perfect partner. If you want a horse that has had a great start and is ready for his forever home this horse is amazing.
